BDS is an organized group of students with disabilities at UC Berkeley, community members, and allies who are committed to addressing the decades long disability discrimination culture on UC Berkeley campus. You do not have to identify as disabled to participate in our group and/or events. We respect that not all persons with disabilities want to identify as disabled.
We are not to be confused with the Disabled Students Program (DSP) nor the student group formerly known as the Disabled Student Union (DSU) now known as the Student Coalition for Disability Rights at UC Berkeley (SCDR).
